Reptiles

Reptiles are cold blooded animals that require the sun or some other source of heat. Most reptiles eat bugs or meat. Some eat plants or small animals such as rats and mice. There are a few different kinds of reptiles such as snakes and lizards. Also there are crocodiles and alligators. I think they are all important.

The reason I think snakes are important is that snakes eat rats and mice. There are 100's of different kinds of snakes and millions of each kind crawling around. I think we'd have a lot more rats and mice if it weren't for snakes.

The reason I think lizards are important is that lizards are fun pets and eat lots of bugs that can hurt our environment. There are 100's of fun lizards. There are striped ones and spotted ones. They will eat any small bugs that are around. I think that there would be a lot more bugs if it weren't for lizards.

The reason I think alligators and crocodiles are important is because they eat fishes and water animals and eat dead animals. They also depend on a certain type of bird to clean their teeth. They can grow really big which means they can eat a lot more dead animals. I think there would be a lot more dead animals in the water if it wasn't for these two animals.

I really enjoy reading about reptiles. I'm not sure what our world would look like if reptiles weren't here. Reptiles do a lot of nice things for us. I think reptiles are great.
